What do you think about using abusive language at workplace??

Many people use abusive language at workplace often to juniors?? Do you think it is ok? or strict disciplinary actions shud be taken in order to control such behaviour at workplace??

I don't think that it is good practice at all to do certain things in the work place especially if it causes offense. Abusive language and the like are usually not permitted. I thought that type of thing was usually outlined in some kind of material that you receive when you begin a job. Demeaning employees is also reprehensible in my estimation. It should be controlled.

I'm EXTREME when it comes to the usage of abusive language! Absolutely against it and would never allow it to be spoken. and where I'm going to work I'll make sure they have a strict dictionary for language, and that we treat each other with respect and honor.. and leave the low language for low people!

It is not OK.People at work are also like our relatives.We don't abusive language to known and to our relatives.We should treat them like this to maintain a balance and have a good relationship.

Nope, it's definitely not ok. If a manager wants to discipline his/her workers, they can be strict, but stick to proper language. I always believe that there are strong, powerful words in proper English that work better than abusive language. Moreover, it's more professional. I would think that a manager who uses foul words to scold the workers, as crude and uncouth.
