have you ever slept during class?

I say this as a teacher. If you are falling in sleep during class, either the teacher is boring, or your blood sugar takes a big dive at that particular time of day. You need to look at your sugar intake Does this happen after lunch? If it happens in the morning, are you having a proper breakfast?

well i didn't sleep during a class , but i didn't pat attention as well lol that was so boring goshes , but kinda fun thou , when u stick a gum behind ur techer's bott lol awesome hahahahha

I never fell asleep during class, but sometimes I wish I had. The subject was so boring and the teacher just droned. I loved history, and learning about ancient times and I really loved it when they had a movie about those times and with mathematics, I was too busy trying to figure out algebra and geometry that I had no time to sleep and I still do not get it. But since I am 65 years old now, I cannot see going back over fifty years to see what I did or did not do in class.

Well..first time going to college i never do that.After second years, i slept alot when my class start. U know...i got so many paper...part time working..and hang out with my friend make me tired.So i take on the bakc seat..and asking my frined about the class after class dismiss, and History..oh that really bored. I think it's good if the history class take sometimes to see some place that historical..or watching movie/documenter then disscuss about it.

I used to always sleep during class in high school. It wasnt that I was bored or anything. I just didnt get enough sleep. But next month I'm going to be starting college and that's just too expensive to sleep through. I'm planning on drinking a lot of energy drinks and coffee.

i ahve fallen asleep in two courses, computer architecture and electronics 1. computer architecture course was boring as hell plus the teacher kept on speaking continuously without a pause and all this bored me to sleep. and almost half the class used to sleep during that lecture.

I'm guilt of that as well. Although it's not particularly the subject, it is most of the time the teacher him/herself. My favorite subject is math. When I was on my 6th grade, our Math teacher speaks so soft and so slow. It's really like a lullaby. It's kind of a spell when you're in that class. And the entire batch knows it as well as other teachers. We do inform them as polite as we can, that the teacher speaks very slowly and we do feel sleepy. We just have to understand that she speaks that way and just do our best to listen and stay awake. She did know it though and oftentimes she give activities. But still, I did sleep at that class. Just can't help it.

You have asked the wrong question I think it should be like this How long have you been awake when you were in School and not Playing? I don't remember if I was ever awake in my Physics,Maths,Chemistry Class.I only liked Computer and that too when we were in Lab doing practicals.

ohh.. me.? yes I had alredi fall asleep many times.. especially when I was sophomore huhskul, I always get asleep, coz so tired in practices and many things to do, thats why I just fall asleep.. but now in junior high I just nap sometime.. hihi

i remember one time in my physics class which of course had to be in the morning when no one was paying any attention because they werent awake yet, i got a snap shot of everyone in the class snoozing. it was kind of funny to walk in and see everyone with their head on a desk or hunched over. it was almost as if everyone had been parting hard the night before. anyways.

Yes I did, back when I was still a student. As far as I remember, I did it in some subjects, one was in my Literature class I just find the subject quite boring plus the professor doesn't add much life in the discussion. Another was in my anatomy and physiology class, the class is held after lunch and it is during this time that I get too sleepy. In my review classes also, most of the time I fall asleep in psychiatry and medical-surgical review, I like these two areas but once those particular professors handles the review, I can't help my eyes from closing. By the way, it's not just me who sleeps during the entire hours of the review, there were a lot of us hahahaha...

I sleep one time in collage on biology it was such a boring lesson any my eyes close themselves:D i sleep about 15 min when my friend wake me up because teacher told me to repeat his last sentence:D but fortunetly he wasnt mad he laught that i was have party day before and continue lessons:D

I have certainly fallen asleep in class on several occasions. Most of the time it wasn't because the material was boring, it was just that I'm not a morning person, so it was a pain to be awake at such a ridiculous hour trying to learn some crazy stuff. The worst for me was trying to stay awake and pay attention in math class. Did you ever start to fall asleep and then catch yourself and do that sharp head bob? that's the worst... you fall asleep and get whiplash...

yeah i do sometimes but just a 2 minute closing of eyes that is when im still in highschool..im always like this when i find the teacher boring...not the subject i guess..

I really couldn't sleep during class, or even when there are no classes going on, I still can't sleep. Perhaps its due to how the seats were designed to be uncomfortable when one would try to sleep with them. Then again, I have classmates who could just sleep with the same kind of seats so, I guess a very strong urge to sleep can over come the discomfort of such seats designed to be uncomfortable if used to sleep with. Then, we also have teachers who would call you out to recite when they catch you sleeping. I know it its already odd to call someone from their interrrupted sleep to suddenly recite but, the teachers do it anyway, even though it would be probably that the previously sleeping student wouldn't know anything to answer. Indeed, there are just some boring classes that would make me wonder why the teachers don't make an effort to make it interesting to at least keep us awake.

I slept on exam and I failed it.I studied the whole night and that was what happened

Ya but very rarely...usually in Maths and Science class...I just used to hate chemistry and Physics class...Biology was some what interesting...but Maths, Chemistry and Physics were too boring...so I slept while reading class especially...even at home when I used to study these subjects I went to sleep after 2 hours...

Ya. I did it few times ago especially when im sick or the subject that i dont like. Scolded by teacher also quite embarasing.
