i belong to several sites that send me surveys. Survey Spot, Quick Rewards, Mindfield, and a few others that i've made money with, the thing that boils my blood is when you spend 10 or 15 minutes answering a bunch of questions, so you figure you were accepted to take the survey.....but after like the 30th question, you get "we're sorry, you didn't qualify for our survey" and like i said, this is after answering question after question that you KNOW they got some info from. so if the survey pays, say $3.00, don't you think they should give you at least a dollar for your time????? another thing, that thankfully doesn't happen too often, is when you spend a half an hour taking a survey, and you know you're getting near the end and BANG! "Error 503"

i have a problem with that but i have cashed in like 300 bucks last year with several different places ALTHOUGH i dont remember when i had joined so it could have taken years to get there.. i figure i dont have much to do so a few minutes here and there will add up later.. but if you dont have the time its not worth it some times.. survey spot, mindfield, survey spree, and a few others are legit and i have gotten paid from them just so you know

I get so cross about these things. Even "legitimate" sites have their moments. Greenfield are the worst. They either spin you along and then reject you, or get you to the end and then "freeze" so you can't complete. They own Ciao! which used to be a great site. Now it's rubbish to the point of criminality in my view. These days all that I have to do is put in my name and I get a rejection. I have over $80 withy them, accumulated some time ago; but I am frightened to put in my bank details in case of scamming. I wish they had a PayPal facility.

that is why i stopped doing surveys. its all been a waste of time. for a while i tried it and got the same problems you did and sometimes they would just say, you've been entered in a sweepstakes, which you never win. or they sign you up to buy something and start asking for a credit card at the end. after saying its free, they just get you started for something they end up charging for in the end. no more surveys for me.

Are you referring to survey spot? they do that to me all the time and it makes me want to just quit the service... I probably would if they didn't give me a lot of money for doing pratically nothing. It makes me want to just answer the questions how I know they are supposed to be answered regardless, but I know that is against the user policy ect.

Well of all the surveys you have mentioned I do not have any knowledge but there is one my view which is very good and it pays most of the time, another one is Globalnet marketing survey,if you do not qualify then they give your five points which keep on accumulating and once you get 1000 points they pay you.So try these two. Best of luck.

Hello sconibear, That's hurt! Looks like the sites are taking advantage of your time. Why will they sent you too many questions if they will reject you in the end? Most survey sites usually give you less questions and usually reject you if you are not qualified. They value your input and your time. They don't want to waste your time as much as possible. I think the site you went through is not a very good site. Better find another one.

Yes, it's definitely annoying because I'm surf they aggregate the data they get of those who don't qualify. You're helping them with their research a little bit so you deserve some compensation...maybe a dollar is too much, but maybe twenty five cents would be fair. That's the way Global Test Market and Clear Voice Surveys think, too, but it's unfortunate that most survey companies don't think they need to reward people who screen out of surveys(it keeps prices lower for the companies they do business with as well, so I guess it makes sense business-wise). I guess SurveySpot sort of rewards you with contest entries even if you don't qualify to take the full survey, though...you'll really regret making this post when you become SurveySpot's next big winner!

Wow, I need a proofreader. I'm "surf" I meant to write sure there and perhaps one fewer maybe in that message. "Maybe" my mind's telling me I need to go surfing.

I also did a survey that promised $1 on completion.I got stuck on last page showing an error and wasn't paid. It's a good way to trick people. Don't remember the site and can't even find it now.

I never liked these online paid surveys. They declare to be global, but when you sign up, you're not given any surveys because you're not in USA or Canada or UK.
