It's only 5 months until Christmas- time to start the shopping and planning. I'm not sure yet what it is I want for Christmas. I always have a hard time asking for things that aren't too extravagant or asking for things that I want rather than what I need. I'm interested in knowing what other mylotters want from Santa this year. Please share!!

Merry Christmas falconjetter! LOL! Well, this Christmas, I would love to receive a lot of gifts. But I would opt to receive donations for my favorite charity. For a change, I would like to receive gifts that are not for me but those that I can give to my favorite charity. It's an orphanage located outside our city. I am sure that they would be very happy if I will be able to deliver a lot of goodies for them.

I am not too worried about getting anything. I am just happy if my family is okay. Especially if my son is happy. He will be 5 years old in September. I suppose I will be thinking more or less about things for him. It's not always about receiving. I usually just enjoy the time of year and the day of Christmas. It can be a beautiful time.

It's so sad how fast Christmas comes and goes. Seriously, it seems like it left two weeks ago, lol. I know that some people like doing majority of their shopping in August. Me, I like the last minute shopping, lol. I guess my only wish would be happiness to bring in the new year. I'm kind of running low on energy for a new material item. Obviously, they aren't making me really satisfied.

No idea yet. But I know we'll probably get lots of not so usable stuff from my in-laws. They always spend way too much money. My MIL believes in giving lots of presents. So, instead of buying one or two nice presents, she'll by twenty small ones, lol. It needs to be full under the tree! Yeah, right. I'm still wondering what to do with those sock shoes I got a couple years ago. They were knitted socks, except they were open in the front from the middle of the foot up with laces to lace up like shoes. It just didn't make much sense to me and why she thought I would have a use for them, or even worse like them. My guess is she bought them at some fair or something, where the vendor talked with her. She always feels obligated to buy something, if the vendor talks with her. Quite frankly, I rather have nothing than junk. Personally I believe Christmas is way too overcommercialized. Nowadays you have the obligation to buy presents for so many people. It's crazy. Somehow the real meaning of Christmas fell to the side. My MIL can't understand that we want to concentrate on that and not spoil the kids with hundreds of presents. They do get nice things, just not a massive amount. They get one big thing like a bicycle, and one or two smaller items like a book or game they wanted. They are happy, but grandma always runs out to get them more, even if it is junk... Oh, I'm getting off track, sorry. Christmas has just not been much fun in recent years. I always need to vent about it....

Wow. Discussing Christmas already?? I haven't thought about this too much. I don't care for anything really because I pretty much have what I need. I just really would like some money. I'm pretty much broke going to grad school. I need another job and I want to help out my parents. That is pretty much all I want right now.
