How much water should we drink per Day?

Hi.. Many of my friends are complaining that I am not drinking enough water daily. But I never feel thirsty and I take a glass of water once with breakfast, once with lunch and again with dinner. My health is also okey. But I heard that one has to drink 6 liters of water per day and so many suggested that we should dring atleast 3 to 4 liters per day. few of them suggested that one should drink water early in the morning, immediately after waking up from bed.... But I am not seeing any necessity for drinking so much of water... can some one help me in this regard. HOW AMY LITERS OF WATER OF ONE HAS TO DRINK PER DAY? Please let me know?

I think they've debunked the '8 glasses a day' theory and are now telling people to drink water when they're thirsty. If you're not thirsty, aren't constipated, don't have sinus drainage, or some other health problem that requires the extra lubrication, I'd say to drink what you're comfortable with. You may be getting most of the water you need with your food.

thanks buddy.. you are with me.... I am also feeling the same.. when I am not facing the problem why to increase the amount of water intake. I thought for a long and some time I do get a doubt if I will have some advantages by drinking more water....may be my health will get much better with more water and thought of taking the friends opinions... Thanks for sharing your opinion buddy....
