Where you live, how much is a gallon of gas? Do you have a special gas station you visit or prefer to go to because of discounts or price?

we have to buy ours by the litre and the closest place to where I live is currently charging £1.22 per litre, the place a bit further away is £1.19 per litre but, I've found a place near where I work that's charging £1.16 ... guess where I filled up last??

Yes, luckily, I'd been 'price-spotting' at all the garages on both my usual route and my alternative route. There are often queues at the £1.16 place (surprise!!) but I had an early shift on a Sunday morning so got mine then.

Haha, I'm going to go out on a limb and say the place that was only 1.16! Or did you fill up for the more expensive one and then find the cheaper place? I hate it when that happens.

You can't be too sure because oil prices change everyday.

Where I live in North Carolina USA, the gas prices average about $3.97 a gallon. In South Carolina where my husbands family is, they are around the mid $3.80's.

yeah, we're looking at about the same around here. I didn't know if it was more expensive or cheaper on the coast. $3.80 doesnt sound too awful considering it broke $4 in ohio a couple weeks ago!

Gas is expensive here its up at 4.00 a gallon. I either go to Wal-Mart where I can get 3 cents off a gallon if I use a gift card, or I wait for the first of the month after I go grocery shopping I spend at least a 100 in groceries and then I get 10 cents off of each gallon of gas. I fill up as much as I can on this one pump.

Same here! It broke $4/gallon around me a couple weeks ago. I was excited when I found a place to buy it for $3.97/gallon the other day. I have friends who do the grocery thing, and I think that's a great idea. I figure, you have to buy groceries, might as well make them count for something, right? I didn't realize WalMart gave a discount, though. That's pretty handy!
