What is YOUR purpose for MyLot?

I must admit that the first thing that I noticed about mylot was the fact that if offered to pay you for contributing to the site. I've been to other discussion groups before and got into some pretty enjoyable discussions but nobody had ever paid me before mylot. So, when I saw the offer for money, I was really excited and so I joined mylot in the hope of being able to make some money. Needless to say reality hit when the earnings were slow in coming. However, I really got to enjoy the discussions, particularly those discussions that were about religion. Always fun to see people behave in their true nature when they think nobody knows who they actually are. Then I managed to get to know a few interesting people too. I made my first payout, then I made my second payout. I think I've come to accept mylot payments for what they are - a nice way to gather a bit of spare change on the side. I would be lying if I said that I was not affected by the money. Watching the earnings go up on a daily basis is quite exciting but I think I've also found greater joy in having an opinion and being able to express it.

LOL I know what you mean. I like it because being on her is kinda like a modern day Dear Abby type of thing.

A little bit of everything. I use it for advice, to give advice, and of course the money. Most of all, because of the learning that I am doing. Of course I am on the computer to spread the word of my site but at the same time, I have learned alot about building my business and general everyday things from others in the discussion areas This is a great place for tips, tricks, and learning for everything.
