For all of those who have been asking how he is doing. Well, I get to talk to him on Instant message some and we do web cams so we can see each other ( boy modern technology is really starting to impress me.) You can also talk at the same time so we have got to have a couple of nice visits. I talked to him a couple of days ago and asked how he was doing and he said he was really tired and ready to come home. That won't be till Sometime between December and March. He did come home for a 2 week R&R and supprised me on Mothers Day. He schedualed it to be with his grandmother who was dying so he got to spend some time with her. She died 1 week after he got back to Iraq and it really bothered him that he couldn't be here to support his brother for the funeral. I have been sending boxes with cookies and things but he eats it all as soon as he gets it and then wants me to send more. KIDs !! I will try to let you know if there is any other news about him. Thanks for all the prayers and Hugs to you all.

All of our troops from this area just got home last Thursday. Three of them I know....and it's wonderful when they come back. It was also so great that you got to see him for Mother's day! If you keep busy the time will go fast...and God speed to him! The offer still stands if he needs more packages!

It must be really tough having a son in Iraq. I would be a nervous wreck. My son talks about going into the military. I told him he is only allowed to go into a branch that he is not going to get killed such as coast guard or navy. I admire your sacrifice and hope your son comes home safely soon. I had a cousin who was over there as an officer and I was worried enough about that. Peace!
