Playing video games vs. watching TV. What do you do more of?

I play more video games than watch TV. Most of the time, I don't even know what's on TV. I'm not really following up nor do I care about the E True Hollywood Story on Britney Spears. I couldn't tell you what happened last time on Desperate Housewives. I've never watched shows like Big Brother, Ghost Hunters, Farmer wants a Wife and all this annoying reality TV. I like the interactive nature of video games, which I don't get from TV. It's just more fun to me.

I most definitely play more video games than watch television. The majority of things on TV just aren't interesting to me anymore, with the exception of one or two shows and maybe the occasional movie. If I ever turn on my TV it's to play my PS2.

Television by default, due to the video game machine being attached to the same television others are wanting to watch.

I watch more tv. Our video game console is downstairs. It is a bit isolated from the rest of the house. When I am in the mood to play games I do so online. I go to www.gamesville.com

As for me, I play video games more often than watching TV. I do like watching TV however, I've always been into video games since I was a kid. I am mostly interested in hyped games and the more popular ones. I play long hours until I accomplish what I needed to do or finish a game. Sometimes, I just continue playing until I get tired. I usually play between my PC and my PS2. Watching TV, however, is a relaxing moment for me. If I just want to be calm and just sit back, I'd prefer the TV. I agree with you, the interactivity in playing video games is immense. I take a break by watching TV.

Playing games is relaxing. Unless you're playing a really intense game like Battletoads, you'll be on the edge of your seat.

I watch TV more than I play video games. I'm not really addicted to them as much as I used to be. Occasionally when I'm bored I'll plug in my PS2. Other than that I'm online, playing my guitar, or watching TV or a movie.

Your very similar to me then. i spend more time playing video games than i do watching tv. If i see a program i like, i will record it on sky+. But i never watch programs like big brother. i watch more documentarys like future weapons, andy mcnabs tour of duty, and SAS soldiers story and so on. But you are correct. You cannot get that thrill from watching television like when you do with video games. enjoy the day. bye:)

I have never watched any of the TV shows you mentioned. I guess I just don't watch much TV. Thanks for the reply.

I watch tv more then I play video games. When I had my Xbox I played it more because I really liked my games. I have a PS2 and a DS, but I don't play them a lot. I love cartoons, so I can watch cartoons all day. I also watch Ghost Hunters and Criminal Minds when I'm off Wens. nights! I know I couldn't live with out my tv. Now we have Fios and the movie channels, I can stay glue to my tv all day! (:

Me and my fiance both watch television and play video games in the spare that we have ,when we are not spending most of the day on mylot and on other sites trying to make as much money as we can, since we can not find a job right now,and I would say probably we spend more time playing video games then watching television because there is not usually anything good on television, and video games are a good way to relieve stress and to relax after a hard day,and usually we will only watch television for a little while before we go to the computers to see how much we made for the day before, and to start mylotting, and then we will watch television a little while before we go to bed.

I agree :) i prefer gaming because also i enjoy the interactive side of a game, and being involved in the story.. like max payne, was awesome story :)) i play consoles but i also enjoy gaming at the pc as i like the keyboard and mouse control :) If not gaming i prefer the computer to tv as for me with being alone, there is more entertainment here for me and feels less lonely to be here
