need help, can't run IE on new laptop/notebook

I bought this Neo Empriva with Vista but can't make it run IE. I don't have Firebox, either.
Can anyone please tell me why I can't run IE? The broadband connection was alright (I'm at the office right now, that's why i can respond here). The IE is installed in the notebook.

what Operating System do you use?
If you have Vista try to check your IE Version make sure that it is IE 7

Thank you for your concert. The OPerating system is Windows Vista and the IE is IE7. ;O) There was a problem with the broadband router that was why it can't connect even if the signal was high.

we need a little more information - are you getting errors when you open explorer?
make sure thet you have the most updated version that is compatible with vista.
mozilla firefox should work for you too - my son also suggests that you try safari...
