Have you heard Kid Rock's new song, "All Summer Long"? If so, do you think that it is the "song of the summer"? I really love this song, it brings back that old "Sweet Home Alabama" tune with a new twist! It's old school meets new school.

This song is awesome. It's cool because it has the theme of Sweet Home Alabama, but it's not a remake per se. Kid Rock is really creative with the stuff he makes. And he did the song Sweet Home Alabama justice.

I loved it when I told my friends' kid to pull it up on project playlist over at their house one night and his dad looks at me and says "that ain't Kid Rock, that's 'Werewolves of London'" I said "just wait." That was fun watching his expression change as the song continued. Kid is very creative and that was VanZant singing along there during the Sweet Home Alabama part in the middle. To be able to mix the music like that from older stuff and make it his own really kixazz!!

Chick, you just don't know how much I love that song!!! The summer of 89 was my senior year & yep, we partied like that....man, I'd love to BE that girl again, lol. In fact, Kid Rock is playing with Lynyrd Skynyrd on my birthday in Indy. I plan to go.

Going to Crue Fest tonight!! This is the All Summer Long concert summer for me & mine!! & yeah, the Kid Rock & Skynyrd concert is going to rock us till we drop!! Thanks for the BR & the early birthday wishes. It's very nice to meet you.

I absolutely *love* that song. I hear it all the time on the radio while I'm at work and I can't help but to start singing along. I do believe that it is the "song of the summer". Everyone I know likes it as well. And I'm a Sweet Home Alabama fan and always have been, so it's a nice change. At least he did it justice. :)
