i had the worse kind of scare!!!!!

well... yesterday during dinner, my mom was talking to my dad in a dilact... i did not really understand... but got a bit that scared me...alot... what i heard was that "if the maid goes off i dont want to be a foster mother anymore.." i was so scared!!! if that is true, about 2 more years than we will not have any brothers anymore my brothers are 3, 4 and 12... and they are all foster brothers... i love them all and they are my brothers in my heart.... if not blood... so i was really upset... so this morning, when i was going to get my clothes, i talked to my mom.... and she cleared it up for me... what she said was that she did not want another young child after my 2 younger child has left.... i am so glad!!! i thought i will lose them for ever!!! did you ever had such scares or a scare related to a family situation?

That is so sweet of you loving and caring for your adopted brothers. I have seen many situations where the real child despise their adopted brothers and sisters and they are not considered as part of the family. I commend you for being a sweet and loving sister for your adopted brothers.

I can imagine you were scared! It sounds like she's already got a household, and I certainly wouldn't blame her for not wanting to take on another younger child after her last is older. You must have very caring parents to foster so many children.

ouch, must have felt like you could almost have an heart attack does it not??? i think i can relate to you... having kids below the age of understanding can be real trouble for family menbers at times... there was this time when my brother was with me inside this bookstore... i was the one who is suppose to take care of him.. i was looking at a couple of books while keeping an eye on him.. when i put the books back, HE WAS GONE!!! that kinda scared me pretty badly because he was out of my sight for ONE MINUTE!!!! if only leash were invented for babies... :) just kidding
