What if student nurses can have all the privileges....

In doing nursing care to their patient? would it be possible? will it be more learnign opportunity?? what do you think??

mariechin Iam not sure what you want,all what priveleges? You mean if a student nurse had the same priveleges as a registerednurse would it be a learningopportunity yes it would of course but thequestion is are you ready for allthat responsibilty, as you do not want to mess up with all these new priveleges. best to learn step by step the registered nurse got there be first being a student nurse so learn step by step and gain new confidence.

I also don't know what you mean by "privileges". However, way back when I was still in nursing school, our clinical instructors allowed us to perform all kinds of nursing procedures, with their supervision of course. Those were the kinds of teachers who were not afraid to risk their license for their students to truly learn and experience. I've also had teachers who won't let us do some complex procedures even with their supervision. Either they were not competent to supervise such procedures or they were plain lazy, I can't tell.
