So here's the 7 steps shared to my by a friend and now I usually do. "Plan carefully what you should buy" "List your priorities. Know your needs from your wants" "Make an estimate of the total amount in your list" "Stick to your list and budget" "Adjust your estimate to the actual cost" "Buy very important items first.
