Another day, another dollar...

There are so many ways (and scams too) to earn a few (or more) extra bucks here on the internet....Multi-level marketing (MLMs), Pay-to-click (PTCs), posting blogs/ads, etc. So many ads that claims they've made tens or hundreds of thousands of cold cash in such a short time, blah-blah. Maybe some are really "legitimate" but I think, most of them are just plain S-C-A-M-S. Yes, they're probably making lots of moneys but not because of the programs that they're trying to endorse to you but because there are so many gullible (and probably desperate too!) people around the world who would jump at anything that promises instant wealth. Let me hear your say on this...

yes, you're absolutely right...those so-called testimonials can be something that has just been manipulated...just part of their scam. I actually don't believe testimonials...unless the person giving it is known to me personally.

You are right in many instances and many of the self styled gurus really operate on the grab for greed and desperation factors. However, there are some legitimate people out there doing quite nicely. I'm not going to try and baffle you with BS or hype, but I've just put together a free blueprint that will help people make money in the medium to long term (6 -12 months) I make no apology for stating up front that to succeed on line people have to work a plan, be patient, be prepared to learn and persist. Nothing happens overnight, but with careful planning, and constant real effort there are dollars to be made. What is unfortunate is that most people want an instant fix - an injection of hundreds of dollars in to their pockets - sorry it just doesn't happen like that. I'm not going to include any links here, suffice to say if you see my site around take a good look at it

I actually believe that anybody will be patient to wait, for as long as they're assured that there will be some light at the end of the tunnel. Its ok to earn a few cents everyday as this will surely pile up in the long run anyway. It is really sickening, after putting all your trust and wasting your time and effort into a money-making scheme, only to find out that you have just been conned. Grrr!

I would say in any business yes one needs a plan. While it's true there are many who prey on the weak and desperate, when working online one must realize that anyone can post anything so research, use the telephone when applicable, and then make decisions. Learn how before doing, it is possible to make money. My mother always said, "If it's too good to be true then it probably isn't." Very cliche but very true!

that's good to hear, as i'm sure there are lots of members here who can't wait 'til they reach payout stage. i know there are some legitimate money makers here on the internet, its just so hard to pinpoint which is which, without you getting conned every now and then. if you're a "gambler" and really doesn't mind losing...then, you can always charge your losses to "experience". but if you're somebody who's in a desperate situation and was just aiming to earn something by doing the right thing, when you get con...boy, that really hurts a lot...watching all your hard earned efforts going down the drain.

Seriously, I think people are missing the point here.. Nobody gets anywhere without hard work. If you're silly enough to believe the garbage pedalled by a program like Lawnchair Millionaire for example, or $1.67 per day or Health First Technologies, without doing appropriate due diligence, then fine call them scams (which essentially they are, because they over hype what they offer) But if you're prepared to do the research, learn what to do and how to do it and then invest wisely in website development and promotion you can and will make money on the Internet. Two programs I know to be high quality programs that don't rely upon you to sell their memberships are Site Build It which teaches you how to create a niche market targeted website and MPAM which teaches the same thing in a different format. MPAM offers a free trail period and a monthly fee of nearly $30. Site Build It charges an annual fee of close to $300 from memory. Both programs expect you to work, both;lay it out all for you and both carry a form of guarantee. Both offer real prospects for earning real income on line without selling memberships (i.e they are not pyramid schemes they are educational sites that deliver what they promise. Of course 95% of people won't give them a second look, because there is no glitz, no glamour and no outrageous claims of $20000 per month or something equally ridiculous. Anyway they're there if you're serious. All you have to do is ask...........

I understand what you're saying and I was in the same boat, I only stumbled upon these sites by accident and took the free trial at MPAM - it taught me an enormous amount and I was no geek when I started and I'm here to tell you that I still really struggle playing with HTML code, but in truth I don't need it - yes its handy, but I've picked up everything I know by reading, watching testing and using.

These sites sounds ok, but maybe more suitable for those with IT background or at least knows the basics of how the net operates. Most of us here are just end-users and not technically equipped...we know very little or nothing at all and doesn't speak the cyber language like a PRO (geek). I'm sure there will be some who will be reading/responding to my discussion who will be able to make use of your tip here....good luck to them, and thank you for mentioning this in your response.

I agree with you! You know, it seems like everywhere I look these days online there is another scam on making thousands a month for ONLY 59.95... good grief... I feel sorry for the poor suckers that fall for their crap.... I have been down that road also, unfortunately..... but apparently the people who run those things are making some dough.... can you say RIP-OFF?.... :)

i'm sure you're not the only one who had been on that road. hey, we all make mistakes in our lives...i honestly don't see anything wrong with that. for as long as we're able to pick up ourselves from our slumber, learn our lessons and get to move on with our lives. for those who are trying to fill their pockets by taking advantage of the weaklings, ripping people off with their so-called money making scams...one of these days, you'll get to taste your own medicine. karma will get you and bite you in your bums.

I do agree that there are many scams and I have come to know how to spot them. My technique is to try them out and see if they are as good as they say they are, then I see if they pay. It it is impossible to get to payout then I just consider them as scams.

yeah, that's what i'm doing too. i'm trying them just to the point where i can still write-off my losses and not get too much involve not until i've proven them to be true and honest. i don't pay anything, i'm not into "buying referrals" that will not work most likely anyway....lol!

I should say I never believe in instant wealth except for a few lucky lottery winners. You are right, there are too many people ready to jump in schemes promising big money for them and that's why they got scammed and become miserable. Greed is the prime evil which makes poverty in some sense. Money doesn't grow on trees,we have to work for it. And when i work, i rarely think of money, i just enjoy my job and before i realize it, my pay rolls in. That's the greatest part of my life and i am happy.

no wonder you've called yourself "shinymood"...you sound so content with your life....lucky you! i'm sure there are plenty of us here who would gladly trade place with you in this very instance. i guess, there are so many desperate people around the world, people who cannot raise themselves from poverty, people who are just plain gullible, or plain lazy. these are the ones who are dreaming of instant wealth, only to wake up in total misery....if only we can all be strong and cautious before we part with our hard-earned dollars...to be smart enough and practice common sense all the time.
