Dry days

I noticed some days, I log onto mylot and there is so much that I am interested in replying too. Some days however, it's like just so dry. No discussions really peak my interest, at least not enough to post. Sometimes on these days, I'll see a topic that looks mildly interesting, but it has 10 pages of replies and I think "Why Bother?". So, do you have these days, where very little seems postable? What do you do about them?

Yeah I think there are these days that really stops you from getting any interesting topics to discuss. Yesterday was my highest for the past two weeks in my stay in here. But there are those days that I feel lazy responding and sharing my thoughts. i do not know why maybe that is also times where I am already tired for the day or is doing something else.

Yeah, the thing I really hate about dry days is that the next day I will always look and se that I have earned like $0.02 on the dry day. Tomorrow (today actually)_ is going to be like that, I just didn't have much to say.

I think we all go thru spurts like this. No matter who we are, or what is going on in our life, we all have our Dry times as well. The other day I was really feeling like that on here, so for me, I had to close out of here, and come back in at another time when I could find some things that peaked my interest for awhile to be able to post at (in) as well.
So this is just to show you that for a person who has been a member here now for over 21 months, I experience the same thing on here from time to time as well.

Yes, I agree with you, it happens sometimes that I also do not find any interesting or sparkling discussion to reply. Yet, I make attempts to post replies to less interesting discussions.

I'm just not good at finding things to post to discussions that I am not interested in. Some people can on on and on pontificating about subjects they care little of, but that's just not me.....it would probably pay better though....

I always try to answer my responses and mostly my friends but yes sometimes it is hard to find a discussion to anser especially as you say if there are pages of answers anyway then I don't bother but always have something to respond to wether it be a small amount or not

Hie DarkDancer, I would love to response to many interesting topics but I hardly have the time nowadays. At certain days by the time I reach home, I am pretty tired and lost the mood. The topics mostly looked uninteresting to me too.
And true enough those topics with pages of responses did not peak up my interest either
. But I will at least try to response/comment on my friends' topics/responses.
Some catchy short titles do catch my attention and I would open those posts. Whether I will response or not, once again depends on my mood on that day. But I do try to keep in view for later for those interesting topics.
Cheers and happy posting.

Tiredness definitely has a way of limiting ones posts...

Today's one of those days for me, I'm scrabbling for payout and searching for discussions to respond to...and then, the well of interesting topics is hinting that it wants to dry up...
O_O
"Please mylot don't do this to me" xD

The "this is how much you've earned so far" thingy just updated, here, for me...it surprised me and I'm only around that much away from payout now too. *heavy sigh of relief*
Yeah...til next month! Lmao. Hopefully things will pick up with autumn, hm?

I know what you mean, I am $0.48 cents away from my first pay out and am not going to make it this month. At least I am pretty much assured to get it next month though...

I have this sort of day too, sometime I don't want to even sit in front of my desktop. Well my unit need some rest too, so I give it the whole day. I do other stuff like play with my kids, watch a DVD or go out. Once in a while we need a breather or recharging but after that I'm back full throttle and do 10 post
. So just give it some time, do the walk and without noticing it you're back.

I totally know what you mean. SOmetimes all the topics are really things I have nothing to say anything about. Or sometimes I've posted so much that I feel like I'm saying the same thing so why bother posting. With these days I do something else. Read a book lol go out and enjoy the world... or just watch tv. Maybe start a few of my own discussions.
I dislike when I've posted so often that the first 5 pages of discussions I have already replied too

Hi DarkDancer,
Funny that was exactly how I felt the other day and I looked for other Myloters discussions on my home page and started responding to them and yes some of them were no interest to me, I supposed thats what they feel about my discussions, but I always tried to post everyones discussions.

I'm just not good at that, I can't find much meaningful to say to a topic that doesn't interest me. (actually I had a college professor tell me that I got A's on the subjects I found interesting, and F's on the subjects I didn't). I maybe could come up with a line, but I donubt it would really contribute to the discussion, except as filler.
