For those of us who own blogs and websites, we can't wait to get more visitors in our pages. Do you get every chance you can to promote your website/ blog? Where do you usually promote them? Is it effective? Or you don't do that much of promoting at all?

Well I generally try to promote myself whenever I get the chance, though I am not really bringing in the page views that are going to make me a millionaire! I have been thinking lately how it would be great if someone could manage my sites for me actually. I just like creating the content the whole maintenance side of things is just to much. I know there is not a great deal to it but I can barely find time to write and I know that there are bound to be better places to link from than here! (Nothing against the lot though)
Anyway it would be silly of me not to put a link in http://rhiannasrandomrantings.blogspot.com/ this is my blog which includes links to my other sites if anyone is interested :)

I find it's darn near impossible to promote my sites and blogs, because a lot of social networking sites, especially the ones that P A Y, don't like people promoting (advertizing) their stuff on their sites. I don't understand, it's still communication and if we're advertizing our stuff on their site, how do they know that we are not advertizing their stuff on our site? It works both ways.
