How to work with a nasty girl?

A girl just joined in my department for around 3 months. At first she was fine with her personality. But recently, she is so rude and nasty. She gets angry easily whenever a senior tries to correct her mistake. She will put up a long face and does not want to talk with the senior that has scolded her before. I really don't understand what kind of attitude is that. It's really annoying. She is just a junior with no experience at all. How dare her. Ever once she wanted to lend a disc from another colleague, the next day the colleague forgot to bring. For me, I think it's very normal for someone to forget something. To my surprise, when my colleague replied that answer to the nasty girl, she straight away said my colleague was so mean. What do you think about this? If you are working with such a person, how will you treat her? Please share with me,thanks.

That's a very unfortunate situation there. I do also work with very rude ppl and managers and I find it tough myself. What I do is call attention to it. You don't have to be rude back or say it in a mean way, I just say listen so and so I don't know what's really going on here but I haven't done anything to you so I would greatly appreciate you not being rude to me and if I did do something to you I would hope that you would come to me and talk about it like adults. So going forth I will treat you with respect and expect the same from you. I know it sounds easier said than done -- but sooner or later you will get to that place where you just can't take it anymore! Good luck with it all :)
