Forgiving and forgetting is a very good attribute. But some can opt for this whereas others cannot. Do you forgive and forget easily? Do you remember any case where it was not easy to forgive and forget?

Sometimes it's hard to forgive, but I always try to forgive and make things right with people. Did you know forgive is good for your health. There were studys showing that harbouring bitterness is so bad for causing diseases.

I'd have to say that I have a hard time forgetting wrong doings. I know it is good to forgive and move one. Forgiving isn't always easy for me either. I do forgive the woman who killed my mother seven years ago. She was hit by a car. I still need to get in touch with her somehow to tell her she is forgiven. No, I will not forget. Sometimes it also depends on the magnitude of what has been done whether or not I feel I can forgive and forget.

You are right dear. It sometimes may have a dependence on the situation as you said. Because the first part -forgiving is easier but forgetting is quite difficult. Thanks for your response.

Hello, excellence! On several occasions i have forgiven and forgot the issues.what is the use keeping in mind those facts and troubling the mind.unnecessarily tension will rise unless you forget.so i don't mind all those episodes.but it is difficult to forget.you have to console yourself and forget and be happy.thanx.

Your ideas are very frank. It is indeed true that by keeping things in mind, we just harm ourself. So it is better to forget.

This is a practice everyone should have. If you leave it for the important occasions you'll never forgive. The truth is hatred and resentment burn up your enery and could lead you to breaking the law or doing something you'll regret later. Revenge never makes sense and the satisfaction is very temporary. Its better to practise forgiveness and live a peacefull life from now.
