I like driving when I travel within my country. I very much enjoy driving. But, these days with the gas prices skyroketting, I have to reduce driving, and take the public transport more often. It gets boring some times riding on a bus on long distances, but can't help it. How about you ? Are you taking public transports too , going to work , shopping , and traveling to other cities ?

i dont drive unfortunately, but i do know how. in our country, i take public transportation. i got accustomed to it. i find it relaxing. i dont care about the traffic anymore. where i am now, my mom drops me to work. like i said, i don't drive. we don't have much public transportation where im currently. it makes me appreciate and miss the public transportation more. and when im in our country, i always wish there's no traffic like where i am now... kinda sucks comparing one place to another. i can't always have them both.

Hi greenline, nice to meet you again. I like driving and I enjoy the most driving on night time. But I sold my car about two mounths now. This way I need to take public transport. You are right it gets boring when we are accustomed with a car. The worst thing about public transport is the go and stop all the time. It get my nerves LOL. Seems that we never will arrive at the place we want. I think that it take some time to take the habit of it. Well, it is a new time for all of us LOL. Cheers my dear friend greenline.

I rely on public transport and I live on the edge of a coastal town overlooking countryside. I have one bus that goes along a road very near me and another bus that goes a short walk from my home. I go along a footpath to that so the walk is quite pleasant. My local train station is about twenty minutes away from my house. I catch buses and trains very often. An old paddle steamer goes to my home town a few times a year on different trips to nearby locations. There is another ferry that has a few departures to the steep looking island. Unfortunately the ferry over to the flat island goes from Wales the other side of the water from where I live.
