Love or lust...

Which one would you prefer and why? I think it really depends on the time of the person's life and how they feel about romantic relationships at the time. Sometimes I think about how much I wanted to fall in love and be happy with my boyfriend, and sometimes I want to see what else is out there and have fun...

I very much prefer love over lust. Lust is just desire without any emotions or feelings where as love has the desire but the desire to know a person and be with them in all fasets not just physically. I love my boyfriend more than anything, and I think there is a difference between the love i feel for him and the "love" i felt for others which now I see was lust.

Why can't you have both? I get lusty for my boyfriend whom I love.

My preference is love. It is deeper, and means more. It is also longer lasting. The latter is short lived. Burns fast then disappears.

A relationship is always a decision and you have to be definite or risk losing the person. Wandering around looking to see what is there should stop when you meet somebody you really like. Its bad for you to be indefinite about these things because you will end up with nothing. Remember, a happy relationship is like gold.
