who hates there JoB? was it your dream?

When I was in high school I really wanted to go into a music career, whether it be teaching music, band director, or something else. Earlier I had wanted to be a cosmotologist. My mom convinced me that I was not making wise choices for various reasons, either having to do with income potential or my birth defect in my legs. I always chose to follow her advice. Now that I am a grandmother, I think back to having been through college, taking the long time it took, and wishing I had done what I really wanted to do and pursued something having to do with music. I think I would have been much happier. Money and income isn't everything. So, my advice to you, if you have a real passion for some area of work, follow that passion and do your best to be what you were born to be. I believe we all have talents of some kind or another. Too many times we get misdirected away from those talents. Take your time. Don't rush. And find out what your talents are and see what you can find for a career choice along those lines. Good luck!
