Do You Like Trains?

I fell in love with trains when I was five and my grandmother took me on a train from Dallas to New Orleans. She tore up paper into little pieces and told me they were tickets and I went around the train selling them to people. I guess my entrepreneurship came early on.
Anyway, after that trip, I sort of developed a great fondness for trains. My favorite train so far (for the past 40 years) is the Durango-Silverton Train in Colorado. It's a narrow gauge railway and it's one of the great adventures of my life. I even wrote a poem called "The Durango-Silverton Adventure" about the ride.
So, how about you, do you have a fondness for trains and what is your favorite?

I love to ride on trains as long as they are not crowded. When I was younger I got to ride on an amtrac train from new orleans back to minnesota. they had this car where the roof was made of glass. So at night it was one of the most beautiful things you ever saw.

I'd imagine that seeing the sky like that would be incredible! Especially when the train was out in the countryside.
