Ghosts

Could you elaborate? I love to hear about people's experiences with the unexplainable.

Ditto that! How, where... and how likely do you think it would be that I could see them too at the same place? Or if not actual sight, then unquestionable perception of some other sort. The best I've seen is an episode of Ghosthunters where they were filming is a (supposedly) haunted lighthouse and a chair was filmed moving about a foot across the floor with no one else in the room.

I'd like to promise that it wouldn't freak me, but I can't either. I THINK that I could handle it, but you never know 'till you're there, right? :-) There was a show on MTV, I think it was Fear (NOT Fear Factor) where they would take a group of people to an allegedly haunted location and have them do things while there (like one person spend the night alone without light in an allegedly hau7nted cell of an old prison). Whomever was left after a few days split the winnings. I SO wanted to go on that show! But I don't think it's being produced any longer; I don't have cable any longer so I can't be certain :-(

OOo, that would be so much fun! Or to do the haunted castle tours in Europe... though as much as I want to see a ghost, I can't promise that it wouldn't freak me out!

Would you know it if you did see one? I'm not sure what a ghost would look like.

I wouldn't think so, either, but Eastern folklore has quite a number of "angry spirit" stories, as well as everywhere there being stories of poltergeist attacks that have caused harm to the living. It would seem to me that if a ghost has the ability and the ghost is, for instance, that of a very violent person or killer, then what would stop them from doing harm? Basically, do you believe ghosts CAN'T hurt the living or that they just won't?

Do you just believe so or have you actually had any ghostly experiences?
