i would certainly say that it's possible. it's just dependent on what makes one happy. if possession makes one happy, then this is definitely not the kind of life. however, if possession no longer elicit a response, maybe some soul searching is in place. i believe that we all need to know what makes us happy. does that new bag really make me happy? or is it just the result of media over-hype? i won't say that i've reached the stage of self-actualisation. that is still quite far for me. but material things no longer make me excited as it used to. cheers ;p

Yes, it is possible. With the society we had today sometimes
it's better to live in the mountains to seek peace. Living in
the city is full of stress. In the mountains people can live with
out money. The fruits and foods are free and fresh. The air is not
polluted. Everything there scream peace....

Well you have a point... Would you rather live in a mountain for life or just a couple of months to relax and then go back again to city?

you need not to climb a mountain to attain the enlightenment you are looking for..just find a quiet place..your room can be a place to do meditating but warn your family first not to disturb you..enlightenment can be find deep there in your heart just search for it..good luck!
