just listen to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had this happen to me but the most recent one was last year, i had a friend who was a Gears of War addict and i could never have a conversation with him over the phone because i would talk and i could hear him in the background talking to people on ex box live it was pretty funny because i would ask him for his opinion and he would take a wild guess. I never put it against him,, i was entertained by hearing him.- Its not that people intentionaly ignore a person on purpose at least thats what i believe, if it happens all the time you talk to them then y even bother with them. O yea and when my daughter came around i admit there were times i was distracted not intentionally only bc i am trying to do several things at one time,in the end i hear everything even if it seems as though i am not listening-

Once I realise someone is not listening I normally stop talking and just wait. It's funny to watch the person slowly realising that you have stopped and then trying to save face ... lol!

Hi astroid, welcome to mylot. Yes I hate when some people do that, they are hearing you but not listening. The sad thing is that they think you don't notice what they are doing - when it is really very obvious.

I can usually tell when someone is acting as if they are listening but it is really obvious that they really don't care what you have to say. i usually assume that they just have a lot on there mind or are too busy to really get into a conversaton. If it happens too much with one certain person, I'll just figure they really don't care what I have to say and that in and of itself will tell how close the friendship is.

Hai friend, It depend to the listener. If the listener agree with you they follow n listen what you say. If not just listen.....haha..Be cool man..
