guidelines for posting

i think that there should be guidelines/reminders posted right beside the boxes for posts. i tried to post a discussion a few minutes ago but since there was error and everything i typed just disappeared: the message i received was to try to post a discussion containing only texts. but my discussion was only pure text. i was a bit disheartened as it took me thirty minutes to type that discussion and didn't copy it to a notepad or something since that would be useless in my case since i can't copy and paste in this site yet. that discussion was composed of about 5 paragraphs and they were gone in just one second. is there a way that we can recover from a lost post?

I heard this before here in myLot. Sugestion: Just make up to 500 then you can copy and paste. So you get a word doc., copy what you wrote and paste it, so will be no problems anymore!

This has happened to me a few times. It sucks so bad. But now I have the copy/paste function so whenever I start a new discussion I just copy it to wordpad before I submit it like you said though I haven't had any more problems since I've gotten this feature. Just my luck, eh. Oh well I guess it is a good thing anyway. Well have a great day and keep mylotting!!!
