I just got my first star!

I now need to know about the star system. I hit my first 100!
Now why doesn't my star have any color? My cat's name is Star!
I'm so excited. I can't thank all my new friends enough. Now
can you please help me by explaining the star system and oh
yeah can you help me boost my rating by commenting. I don't have
any of those either. Thank you all so much for helping me get
started in my first week here!

Congratulations!!!!! I was so excited when I got my star. There are many other milestones and they are exciting too. Just keep mylotting and you will get there. Have fun!

Congratulations! The star system has ten points. If other users rate your discussions and replies positively, your ranking goes up. If you get negative ratings, your star ranking goes down. Your star appears after 100 posts as you have already found out. Lots of comments to your discussions doesn't improve your star ranking, unless those people also positively rate the discussion. Of course, the more people reply, the more money you get;)

Hi Opal, Firstly congratulations, told you earlier you'd be there soon eh! The star is only where people have plus rated your comments in discussions or your discussions and if it has no colour I'm guessing at a 7 as this is a white star which is a great one to start on when I got my first 100 mine was only a three. Your post points don't go up though from the comments in discussions you only ge one for posting but the responses help build earnings, you geta point though for each response to make in others discussions. I got up to a 10 star but it flutuates at times going up and down I think it is a 9 now. Once again congratualtions. Ellie :D

Oh Hi Opal thank you for your kind words. I am just so pleased that you are enjoying it here and that I have be able to be of help in someway. It is good to ask as when I was new I didn't really ask and it took me a longer longer than it has you to reach the 100 believe me. hi opal26 congratulations on your first star, just keep on
posting and having fun and as your fellow mylotters hit the postive key for you each time they comment your ratings will go up and you will get the next highest key til finally you get the blue ten star which will mean most all mylotters have hit the positve key when they responded or commented to you. good luck and god bless.

Congratulations on hitting 100 and on the star! It is great when you get your first star.
I think you just need to continue posting and responding to discussions like you've been doing and it's up to the myLot community to rate you. This FAQ kinda helps

congratulation opal! I see you have got a 7. It's good going, I had 6 when I reached the milestone. But, it picked up pretty soon. You just have to keep posting and contributing and your popularity will keep soaring and get you even higher points. Happy Mylotting!
