i love to be in front of the camera, but i never think that taking the pictures would be much as fun as well:)WE bought a new Canon powershot A590 IS the other day and i am excited! I dont know much about photography and stuff like aperture, shutter, etc...reading about them gives me headache...Anyone here owns A590 IS? please share with me any techniques how to get a good camera angle, shot. thank you and happy clicking! smile! :)

I would say just start taking pictures and read your manual. Also if you have time pickup any photography books or scrapbooking magazines, they always have some tips in there for taking pictures. Most of all practice practice practice. I just got a new canon powershot S5 IS. I love it and everytime we go somewhere in the car I read a few more pages in the manual and then turn the camera on and find where those features are. It's fun to learn new things on there. Good luck!
