Should I buy a television?

I am trying hard to save my money on daily expenses. But recently, I am getting bored for not having a television at my house. Everyday, what I can do is surfing. I am quite fed up with it already. If I buy a television,maybe I will need to subscribe additional channels because the ordinary channels are so boring. What should I do? Should I buy or not? It's hard for me to make a decision,sigh. Please give some comments and advices to me,thanks.

well getting a tv or not is really a tough choice. there are so many channels available on the internet. there are also websites that you can watch series. i'd consider tv a luxury item. not really a necessity but more of something to pamper myself with. if i have a choice, i'll use the money for something else. also, tv kind of numbs the mind as we basically stop thinking when we watch tv. so unless and until you have a sum of money that you don't know what to do with, don't get a tv. cheers ;p

maybe your boyfriend can buy for you? well i'm not really a tv person. if i'm bored surfing the internet, i'll grab a book. i can also do a lot of other things. watching tv to me is not really a productive way to spend my time.
actually i have a tv in my bedroom. it was an impulse purchase while out shopping. i've got it for more than two months now. but i've switch it on for less than ten times. ;p

Hi friend,
Its really better to buy a TV.Of course it gets bored always seeing the laptop,if you have TV,you can feel relaxed by viewing the comedy shows coming in it.Its really good idea.

i have lived at times without a tv and i hated it. i did it and lived but really missed it. regarding adding channels you need to go by your budget. ordinary channels are better than nothing and it's good to see local news from time to time.

Yes,yenwie,I think you should buy a TV.Computer shouldn't be the only way of us to know the world and we also can get a lot of enjoyment from TV.
