I wouldn't go to the door at all...:D

when my front I will definitely think a lot before opening the door.I think the first measure that I will take would be to have something in my hand is by which I can heart the person if he is not coming with a genuine intention. Plus I will definitely have a look at him with my peak would before opening the door because now days crime rate is increasing at an alarming rate and I think it is better to take prevention than to find the cure of it. There have been a lot of incidents like this where people break into the house at night or even sometimes during the day in the afternoons and a lot of damage is being done to them. They have been so many cases of robbery when people came at odd hours when they knew that the people by their would-be sleeping or mostly the house will have only ladies during the mid-day.

You are inviting trouble if you open the door past midnight. i wouldn't take the risk to open my house at this hour. Why would a person come knocking if he has no bad motives. If it is family members on emergency call, they would call the handset not come in such a manner. After midnight I will not entertain or allow people in my house.

Hello,Iqbal!If somebody rings the door bell or knocks the door it is our first duty to ascertain who the caller is.ask him who he is and if satisfied with the reply, you confirm again with the voice if it is a known voice and after getting yourself fully satisfied open the door else you invite troubles to home.thanks.

i will dfntly give myself time to think on who would that person be...but of course i will attend the door but that is after peeping on who that is...i wont attend it not knowing who the person is..if the person is a total stranger, b4 opening the door i will ask what the person needs... oh btw i will not attend to the door alone if the person is stranger..

I would think 100 times before opening the door and would also ask that whose on the door..From my kitchen, we can look at the door so i wud see the person first from my kitchen before opening the door..

Hehehe, I will think long and hard before even thinking of answering the door. I'll analyze all the different possibilities, who can he be? It doesn't matter if it's day or night, but I WOULD probably go straight to the door, if it's night cause I'm not thinking straight at that time.
