Do you like your meat/steak Welldone, Medium or Rare?

I order mine medium-rare - only because by the time it gets to me, it's usually medium, which is my preference. I have a friend who loves rare meat, even rare tuna and sushi (raw). Sorry, but I can't do that. But, I've had so many steaks I asked for medium that were well-done when I got them, I began to ask for medium-rare. They're almost always just right - a few are actually medium-rare, but that's as undercooked as I can do. I even like a little pink in my burgers - they're just juicier, I think.

I like it medium so there is still pink in the middle. Well done can sometimes make the steak too tough (of course it depends on the quality of the steak - a fillet steak is likely to still taste soft and delicious well done). I can eat rare steak and it tastes great, it is just when it has too much blood coming out of it that I don't like the idea of it. A medium steak has the juices sealed in.

I normally order my steak medium rare at most resturants but when i go to japanese resturant i get it rare because it so thin ahhhhhhhhh its so tender and juicy I could eat my steak well done to me it almost like eating a tire but my best friend eats hers well done to :) everyone has there on opinions :) Have a great day

I prefer it to be medium well. I used to always order steaks in a restaurant to be well done. Having eaten many burnt steaks in my day, I now make sure that I order it medium well. This way it is tasty and cooked without being burnt. I'm not a big steak eater but I do enjoy one every now and again.

I like my meat medium. I don't like it "screaming" yet I don't like it too done either. Somewhere in between so that I can chew it. I think if it's too done it loses flavor. If it's too rare though it looks too alive. I can't deal with that. It upsets me enough when I realize that I'm eating a poor cow. I try to think that meat comes from meat trees. I know that sounds stupid but I can't bare to think about it truthfully because I love animals so much and that makes me a hipocrit. I'm sure I'm going to hear from PETA now!

I love the medium sized ones and yes, well cooked. Usually, I order them from the restaurants. It is very tastey and yes, mouthwatering too.

Well, I am a steak lover and I used to eat my steak well done up until a few years ago. I decided to try medium well to see the difference and I liked it that way alittle better. It's still cooked well enough for me but it is not a tough as a well done steak.

I really am a steak person. I have had it a few different ways, medium rare, close to rare, medium well. I would have to say that I like mine well done. I also like to put some kind of sauce on it too. It really adds a nice flavor to it along with some good seasonings. It always tastes good to me with a side of baked or mashed potatoes with butter.

dear marina321, i love steak! love love love. i llike it well cooked so that i wouldn't get salmonella, and it's just better tasting and crispier.
