laptop is very useful besides carrying it wherever you go. its light to carry and easy to use. you dont have to go to the library for research. you can put it in your car or carry it around so that if you need to use it, its there already. all set and waiting to be use.

I love my laptop. Just because its such a small device working for all your needs that you could do on a desktop. Yeah , it needs to be mentioned, that it must be the latest configuration you carry.
On the other thought "latest" has no stable meaning. its ever changing. so keep your laptop changing or at least upgraded all the time.
