What can i learn form mylot?

I signed up in mylot just yesterday so i am totally new to the mylot family.My recommender said that it is very good to be a member of mylot:on one hand, i can earning money by viewing and reponding discussions,on the other hand, it is a good place for me to learn more English. Through one day's view,I surely notice that there is a lot of information in the website~~~but somehow I think the information is a little too much for me and i don't know how to classify it.That means, i am now in a confusion:what specificly can i learn from this known-for-the-good website. If there is not much trouble, I sincerely thanks for those who take time to response and guide me to know more about mylot. Thanks a bunch.
