She's on drugs again. A few years ago she gave custody to my son to run off.Hethinks aspirin is a drug.He works hard and takes random drug tests for his job.The judge by passed all his good works and handed the girl back to her mom, telling her to go to rehab, she never did.Everyone that knows this whole story is fuzzled as to why she would do this.I'm talking other lawyers.cops friends and family. The other day my granddaughter told me about a guy coming to their apartment and kicking the door down and pulled a gun on her mom.She told me her mom never pays attention to her makes her stay in her room while all her friends are over. What can he do? It's still the same judge but my granddaughter don't stand a chance at a good life as long as she's with her mom.She doesn't want to go back, she cries and tells me don't make me go.So if any of you are trying to get kids back move to Harrison county in Texas, if she'll take a kid out of a stable home and give her to a meth-head anyone can get their kids.None of this is made up and if my son was wrong I would be in her corner.

That is terrible. the mother is only thinking about herself and not that of her daughter. Is it possible for your son to go back into court, and try again to gain custody? The little girl should be able to have a say so in this. If she expessed how she felt to the judge, he/she should see that it is not a safe environment for her. The system is so full of it. You read many times about cases like this, and nothing is done until something bad happens. I wish you and yours the best, and I will include you in my prayers.

He's been back to a lawyer,My mind thinks their should be an immediate hearing but I'm not a lawyer. This is a small town.I know the courts are busy but we're talking a county of maybe 100 thousand.Thank you.

Can you take the girl instead? You are right. Her future with her mother is like a dark sky. No light in there. How could they give her the custody of the child? Sometimes i don't understand the law. True it's really biased sometimes. I'm just hoping the girl is strong enough to overcome it all.
