I always say this to my wife: "Never mind if the fridge is empty, but don't leave me alone without my garlic." I can make a simple recipe without onions, tomatoes and others, but not without garlic in the kitchen. KEEP SMILING = NEIL

I absolutely love pesto. It's all the garlic. Garlic is heaven. I use 3 or 4 heads a week. I make up bunch when they have the garlic harvest. It's out of this world. Unfortunately all the olive oil and cheese makes pesto really fattening. I'm on a diet and I am limiting my fat intake. I limit my pesto to pasta. but chopped basil on pizza or in the sauce is also good. As for tomato on pizza, I always put tomato slices on pizza. I also like eggplant on my pizza, but the pizza stands don't always have eggplant. Fried onion is also great on pizza.
