I have a dog which is 2 and half years old, I want to train him

There is a saying 'You can't teach an old dog new tricks' and you are almost at that point! We start training our puppies at about 6 weeks old and by the time they go to their new owners at 8 or 9 weeks they are pretty well house trained (ok a few 'accidents' haha). They then go to 'puppy school' once a week for training. I might add here that it is often the owners that need training too!! During the week the puppy does his 'homework' each day and on the next 'school day' you can see the progress. A two and a half year old dog would be like training a 17 year old human from scratch - difficult! It can be done, but it will require a lot of loving and patience on your part. Are you up to it?
