Do you think national ID cards with a retina scan amongst other things...

Would be a good idea? I do! I think anyone who didn't want one must have a reason. That reason can't be good. It's not infringing on civil liberties as far as I'm concerned. I think they could protect people. If they had a finger print record too then the card wouldn't need to be carried. These cards could be a huge help with crime and illegal immigration. I personally would feel a lot safer. How about you?

I think a nationa I.D. card is a good idea. I also think it is going to happen in the near future. The finger print is a good idea. I don't know nothing about retina scans so I can't comment on that. A national I.D. will protect us more than infringe on our rights. "Big brother" already knows almost everything we do anyway. What more could they learn?

You make very good points there! Surely the people against this are the ones who have something to hide? I agree that big brother already knows more than we realise so why not put it to good use! Thanks for your answer.
