Spam Discussions?

I came on here earlier this morning for just a brief moment after waking up unexpectedly. I was browsing through the interests when something caught my eye. The first page of discussions held new ones with very little details, often only a few words. This got me to thinking. I've read in other discussions how people don't like spam responses that have nothing to do with the topic and are just advertising their link. When you see the kind of discussions with little description and a few words, do you think of them as spam as well? Do you think that some start these kind of discussions just so they can earn money? How do you feel when you see them?

Often times they are spam to me. Although some have quality questions or topics, but many I think are made JUST to make money. It annoys me a bit, but I can't blame them to much, who doesn't want money? I still don't like spammers though. :P

Yeah, I feel that way too. I don't blame them wanting to make money either. It just gets annoying at times when I'm looking and see them all. Thanks for the response.
