Tea is considered bad for the health. It increases acidity in stomach, absorbs water from the body and even has bad effect on the teeth. The first thing people do in the morning is having a cup of tea. Generally i try to avoid tea and drink milk or water instead. What about you, how many cups of tea do you have in a day?

Good that you don't have too much tea or coffee. By the way what do you offer your guests or friends- tea or coffee?

well i'm not really a tea drinker. i'm more of a coffee drinker and cannot do without my morning cuppa. however, i sometimes drink tea with my meals. i love tea with loads of sugar and milk. it has a similar effect on me as coffee. so i try to avoid either one after 5pm. if not they'll keep me up the whole night. cheers ;p

Drinking too much tea or coffee that too loaded with sugar is not good for health. Tea and coffee even absorb water from the body. Thanks for the response. Have a nice day. Take care.

I drink coffee rather than tea. When it is cold outside though, I will drink a cup of tea to warm up. Tea is soothing. I also drink chamoille tea sometimes at night to help me get to sleep. That is a nice relaxing tea. I like it very much. Green tea helps to speed your metabolism and helps with weight loss. It's good.

Hi karjyo, tea is very popular in my society. Many people especially those senior groups are very fond of taking tea together with friends in the tea chambers nearby the park. They usually have their breakfast after physical exercise or jogging in the morning. They would like to share a pot of hot Chinese black tea. They drink with their small teacups, eating and chatting in the meantime for the whole morning. As I know most of them look fit and healthy. Other than to take coffee in the morning and evening the rest of the time I always have hot tea. I take averagely 5 cups of hot tea daily. I was told that to take a cup of tea in the morning could help us to discharge toxin from our body. posting and have a nice day.

I don't know. I drink so much of it, I can't even begin to guess how much. It is good for you, though. Tea contains some zinc and folic acid Tea is a source of the minerals manganese, essential for bone growth and body development, and potassium, vital for maintaining body fluid levels The average cup of tea contains less than half the level of caffeine than coffee. One cup contains only 50mg per 190ml cup Tea is a natural source of fluoride and drinking four cups makes a significant contribution to your daily intake www.tea.co.uk It has been linked to a reduced risk of ovarian cancer and Parkinson's disease.

I usually drink only one cup per day, and its not the usual tea. I drink green tea. I add a spoonful of honey as a sweetener and half a lemon juice to it. All I know is that it contains antioxidants which is good for health. Initially I didn't like it, but gradually got used to it and started liking it so much that I've stopped drinking usual tea.

i don't really into tea actually, especially if I can have hot chocolate instead of it. In the morning I usually have a glass of water. How many cups of tea? I might answer none, or maybe two. Two is the maximum

Hi , Usually I will have to make a pot of coffee or tea when I first will wake up in the mornings . I always use light milk , and a light sugar , like a splenda . What I have been drinking is blueberry tea with some milk , and sugar . My goodness is that a sweet treat , and low in fat . Usually , I have a few cups
