When I graduated from high school that was year 2000, I've decided not to enroll in college but to work although as a service crew of a fast food chain. I've spent my 4 years working as a cashier on that kind of establishment. For me, working there is so great though challenging because you can not only meet new friends but you can also encounter different types of people, some are so demanding, some are understanding, and sometimes you can made friends with them. But not only that, being a service crew could help you to become hard working, responsible, independent, how to deal with different types of people and also, it could help you improve your personality. And as for me being a service crew is a one great achievement and experience.

I used to work at Dairy Queen. It was okay. The hours were pretty good. I think the pay was all right if I remember correctly. I think that it does help you become more responsible. Because it is not good to have unhappy customers because you weren't paying attention or weren't able to multi-talk, etc. :)

My first job was working at McDonalds.I was in first year college. My mom doesn't have any idea about it.I was already living independently when I was 18 years old.I still get my tuition fee and "baon" from my mom and she knew then that I was staying with a friend for free for lodging. But I was actually working so that I could pay my rent.I don't have any problems before regarding money my parents are so generous...It's hard to work in a fast food.NOw I work as a call center agent and it's much harder...well hard because your body clock will be confused.lol

Hi there melizabrogada I work as a service crew and as a cashier in fast food chain also for almost 2 years. Well, it's hard to work on this kind of establishment, but It's a great achievement of course. I tried to work and study before, I started working there during 4th year high school. I study in the morning and I work in the evening. Well, that's kinda hectic for me, because sometimes I do not have time to study my lectures and even review for my exam. But I surpassed everything, it's a great challenge for me. I learned how to manage my time and how to be hard working. Well, 4 years is a long hard work, congratulations! Take care, and wish you luck. Keep on posting, happy myLot![em]thumbup[/em]

I have had a little experience in working at a fast food restaurant because my first job was backline at Arby's ,I worked there for the equivalent of two weeks, and thought I felt I was doing good in my backline duties, they fired me claiming my speed was not fast enough, which if they had given me more than 3 hours a day a couple days a week then I think I would have been able to make roast beef sandwich's quicker than I did.
