Meningitis

Has anyone ever had viral meningitis? My 2month old daughter just spent 3 days in the hospital with it. Now I am showing symptoms and its horrible. There is no cure you just have to let it run its course. I have an excruciating headache for 3 days now. It is horrible. Any advice on helping ease the symptoms?

I'm sorrow to hear it!You should be stronger because you are her mother!As far as I known,the disease can be cured in China.I suggest you take her to the better hospital!It has gone for two weeks,how about your daughter now?Good luck to her ,to your family!!

Bacterial can be cured...viral is normally not dangerous and is caused by a VIRUS which cannot be cured anywhere. It is just left to run its course. It is no more severe than a common cold it just affects a different part of the body.

How are both of you doing now?
I didn't have the viral type, but rather the bacterial type when I was a toddler. By what I read online the only things that can help you are over-the-counter painkillers and rest. But you probably already know that.
