best french fries

I think Red Robin has the best french fries - they are really addicting! I have found that the french fries I used to like when I was younger (like McDonalds) don't really taste that good. Have you ever gotten some fries and slowly eaten them with your eyes closed? I think they are gross now and can't even eat them, which is actually a good thing for my cholesterol. Also good that we don't have a Red Robin close by!

I still like McDonald's fries though I don't think that they are as good as they used to be. I think tht when they stopped using lard to fry them in (I think that is what they used to use), the taste went down somewhat. (probably the health factotr went up but that is another story) For fast food fries, McDonald's are still my favorite fries. However, I also like Five Guys Burgers and Fries cajun fries (though they don't ahve a drive through so I don't go there as often). I have never been to a Red Robin though I heard that there is a new one about a half hour from where I live. Now you have me wanting to go there to try their fries! LOL

I have never heard of five guys burgers, but it sounds yummy. Try Red Robin sometime, if you like big steak fries with seasoning. :)

I haven't tried Red Robin's french fries. I like Burger King's. Well, I used to. I haven't been there in a while, so I don't know if I still like them or not.

I have heard that Red Robin is good. I have never been there before, but I am going up to my brothers for a bit tomorrow and he has one not too far from him. I was thinking that I needed to make a trip there and reading this discussion makes me want to even more.
