I don't feel this Early 80's Buggles' song reflects what's going on in the Music world at all..Yes,we like to watch the Fetching looking Eye Candy of Music Videos, but Music will always be about the sound, and how it makes You feel in Your Head, not simply what's going on on the screen..In the great tradition in popular Music of the "Answer Song",I have 3 little words for you to consider.."Radio Ga Ga"!

I don't believe so at all!!! With the birth of the Ipod and every other aspect of having music constantly blasted in our ears, music has regained its roll as being the top dog! video has become a perk in the music world and no longer has taken control. MTV has cut on the music video's because they are stuck on reality TV Shows, which I find a complete waste of time and now have killed any chance of bringing music videos back into publics eyes. THE RADIO STILL PREVAILS. IT MAY HAVE BEEN TAKING A BREAK, BUT IT IS BACK IN ACTION!!! HAHA That is how I feel on the subject... Happy listening and keep posting!

At the time people were REALLY into the new music video media and I suppose it almost became more about the video you could produce to really sell the song. Now they rarely show music videos on MTV or VH1 because there are so many other shows. I think now reality TV killed the video star :-)
