YEAAAH!! I reached the 500 post MILESTONE

I am very happy today. it was just 2 days ago i reached the $10 minimum payout and today i achieved the 500 response milestone.
i got am extra option to add images to responses and now onwards i can paste in to responses.
Still i don't know how to use these features and make maximum use of it.
Best of luck for all mylotters who are trying hard to reach the milestones.
I use this discussion to thank all mylotters who have responded in my discussions and those who have started good discussions to which i have responded.

Well done.
I use the 'add a picture to your post' feature very sparingly although you get about a cent when you do it.
Now that you are over 500 and you make a post, to the bottom left of the text box you are typing in your words of wisdom you will see a blue link 'add an image'. Follow the info and you can add an image and get paid.
You used to have images quoted seperatly on your earnings page but now those image earnings are incorporated into the overall earnings.
The copy and paste thing is handy for entering a URL link without a typo and copying over a phrase from another post. Mylot seems to be more stable now but I used to type a long post into Notepad and when I was happy with it, copy and paste into Mylot. This avoided the problem that used to occur where you spent ages typing in a post on the Mylot text box and when you pressed the 'post response' button the post was lost for some reason. Aaaaargh! Type it all in again!

congrats i am trying the same thing to earn money and points here in mylot may i achieve what you have achieved here in mylot could you mention what amount of time you invested in mylot

Thanks vikram, you can also earn more easily and fast. what you need to do is write atleast 4 to 5 sentences for each responses. and rate the discussions.
i usually come for 2 HOURS when i get time. but most of the day i am not able to come.
make most out of the time available.

I like to use all the features of mylot but since i lost my home net connection. i am now using my mobile browser for mylotting. so i am not able to utilise all the features.

On the side, gloreymay, may I give you a tip as to why you have not made $10 in 619 posts and others have made it in under 500.
Your posts are not long enough - 20 words earn nothing; 30 to 40 words maybe a cent; 100 words maybe 2 cents. These are my guidelines, not Mylot, but they seem to be about right in practice.
I looked at your profile and you have a lot of one line replies. Not good for earning.
Ok, sometimes one line is all you want to say but then one must not expect to earn from the post.

I have not quite reached my milestone of a first payout, but I am very close. As of this minute I am at $9.34. Maybe I'll make it this month.
Now that you've reached this milestone, you'll have to set another. What will it be?
Good luck with using your new features. Like you, when I am able to use them, I won't know how. Ha, ha. But, I'm sure we can learn!

I'm not exactly sure how I'm getting this close to payout at less than 200 posts. I do have one referral who is active and brings me anywhere from one cent to a few cents most days. I respond to discussions and I try to make my responses good ones with several lines. I rate nearly every post I read. I have only started a very few discussions. I have only a few pictures in my interests, but I'm not even sure I did them where they count or not. That is still a bit of a mystery to me. I try to respond to all who answer my discussions, too.
