Hi everyone! I sent in a job application to the Humane Society and I was wondering if anyone could tell me when I could expect a call or something from them. How long should I expect to wait before I know they aren't going to hire me? Thanks! :)

I would give them time to review the application, a few days, and then follow up with a call. Sometimes persistence helps speed up the hiring process. Also lets the Humane Society personnel department you are really interested in finding a position with their organization. Good luck, carolbee

Follow up with them; give them a call to let them know you are really interested in the job. Expecting that you aren't going to get the job is self-defeating. Even if you don't get this one, there are plenty more in the field.
