i have been through a very rough year and the next year to come is going to be a battle, but i will fight and make sure i live my life the best way i know..
i have a great hubby and family and friends that are my rocks..
i say live your life, live it and never regret anything at all..i know people just say that never regret but that is one of the truest statments i have ever heard..
life is sooo very short we are here and could be gone at any time so,live your life to the fullest and do all you want to do, even if you think you cant do it you never know if you dont try..
ok im going to stop as it will not let me post this and i will have to do it again lol..
hugs to all you beautiful people out there

I am sorry that you are having a rough time at the moment, but what you say is true, life is to short and we do not realise it until it is too late. Then we wish we had appreciated and enjoyed it more. I too am guilty of being like this and I know that I need to let go and have more fun and live life to the very best that I can.

Most certainly agree with you. Life is full of ups and downs and we need to learn from them. It is short so, get the best out of it. I've also learnt that we should not regret use those experiences and lesson to improve.
I'm sure that times will improve for you and your family. All the very best.

The older you get you realize this. Everyday I appreciate my life and enjoy the things around me. I did not used to be like this as I was always in a hurry and had a hectic schedule. I am so glad those days are over. I missed a few things during those times and nothing I can do about it now except to live each day forward fully. You sound like a strong person and I wish you the best of luck with whatever obstacles you encounter. Having a supportive family and friends is extremely important as well. Hugs to you as well!!!!!!!!!

I live my life to the fullest each and everyday knowing like you said we are here now but could be gone at any given time. I have a son whom I adore and he was a gift to me from god that I need to live and stay strong for through out his life.
I have so much planned in the years to come for him I want to put him through college, travel to different places I have always wanted to go to and have him come along with me. He is 9 soon to be 10 next month in Aug. 16,2008. I make sure I live everyday like it's my last bt hope to have many more inspireing years to come.

Hi Shelly
I kind of feel like you do right now. I know our circumstances are different, but last year was one of the biggest struggles in my life. I have been through many difficult times in my life, but I always come through it a much better person. I'm actually grateful for the experiences so that I may become the person I was put here to be.
Shelly, whatever you are going through, it sounds to me that you have a great support system to keep you strong and help you stay on track. Prayer gets me through each and every day. You are right, life is too short so, don't regret just live every moment. It's truly amazing how strong we are. You are in my prayers. Please keep us posted.

you sound confident for this battle coming up next year.
as if you are "ready" for it.
you know, BRING IT ON !
oh, i have regrets...but, that is how i learned.
that is how i learn to appreciate life and love and hopefully have fewer regrets in the future.
i try very hard to stay optimistic and positive. on all my friendship sites, my profile states.
i do not stress over my glass being half-full or half-empty, I GLORY THAT I EVEN HAVE A GLASS !
Blessings to You.

I believe a lot of what you say makes sense. I found that it is better to focus on the good things we have in life and keep hoping for the best. It wastes time to think of the regrets so we should think of what we have. For instance, I have made some mistakes I wish I could take back, but now I have a beautiful four year old son that I cherish with all of my heart.
