Black eyed peas and green chili corn muffins YUMMY!

So tonight we are having black eyed peas and green chili corn muffins! yum ! I cook the peas in my crock pot all day with a smoked ham hock. I then will bake my muffins right before dinner time. A great meal and cheap on the pocket book! Oh we are having rice too. I take some butter and saute onions and red bell peppers in the butter then I add one cup of rice saute it for a little while then add two cups of water bring it to a boil and then cut the heat down to low for 30 minutes then turn it off and let it stand till the rest of dinner is ready. A very affordable meal and very filling too! Do you like black eyed peas?

Can I come to dinner? I love black-eyed peas, especially cooked with smoked ham. I also love peppered fried rice.

Maye you should cook this for me sometime, if you like it so much. I'e never tried blackeyed peas, but I'd like to. This recipe souds really good.

I have never had black eyed peas before. I do like to have beans cooked with a ham hock sometimes though. Green chili corn muffins sound good. I mad a taco type casserole once that had corn muffin mix with green chilies and cheese in it before. It was yummy!
