From 145lbs I am now down to a hundred in a span of 6 months. I took away carbs from my diet and replaced it with lots of soup or broth to be more specific because creamy soups contain carbs. Then i move on to fresh green leafy salad with dressings that aren't creamy nor oily, a vinegrett dressing would do. Then i start with my main course which is meat paired with vegetables and egg, tofu or beans. I also take a lot of water during meals to fill me up. For desert anything healthy would do like yogurt or fruits. You can eat as much as you can as long as you stay away from carbs, oil and sweets. Actually this is similar to the Atkins diet. It is not recommended if you have an underlying disease especially cardiovascular disease. The mechanism of this diet is that instead of carbohydrates being converted to glucose for energy, the stored fat is being utilized. It is quite difficult but once you start it everything will be fine after a week. However, once you take even a small amount of carb during the course you will surely crave for more. Beware. Let me know if this works.
