What are the things you would not allowed it to happened to your children that every Parents have mistake in every discipline that we teach for our children but we as parents never showed it to the children that we are the first person who got so affected in the things we do for them. As a parents, we never showed our children that we are disappointed either way but my questions is until what age do we have to discipline our children.........?

My thoughts on this is that many of us were programmed when we were young to do what we were told because our parents told us so. This was a good way to show us how to be over dominating over smaller and weaker beings. I try to take each situation with my children one at a time. An example would be, my 2 year old son, who is looking for more attention, because recently we had another child and he is no longer the baby, sneaks a jar of honey into his room and smears it all over his wall and floor. What would your reaction be? My mother would have given me a spanking that I would still feel right now. I look at it like this, these are the things we will always remember later on in life, so why not make memories, have a chuckle together over it. Then help each other clean it up. Why yell and spank. He needed attention but he didn't need negative attention. This shows him I see him but he isn't bad. They grow up too quickly and then you are left wishing you had enjoyed more versus becoming upset.
